The inception..

Toydam School was founded in April, 2003 by Chief-Mrs O.O. Arigbede-Idowu The love she has for children made her think of having a school; not just to make profit but to give out her best to the future leaders. She showers them with much love that the children call her "BIG MUMMY".

The journey so far...

Though it has not been an easy journey but with God being the pillar upholding the School, the hard work of the staff and the supports given by the stakeholders we are here today and still moving.
Chief (Mrs) O.O. Arigbede-Idowu's experience, passion and hard work paved way for a continuous effort to maintain and improve the school standard and soon the school was able to move to more conducive, spacious and beautiful building in 2006; though still a rented apartment. In 2011 the school was finally moved to the permanent location (where we are today) after enduring much pressure from the previous landlord; Glory be to God.

Scholarship Award.

Barely two years that Toydam School was founded, Chief (Mrs) Arigbede-Idowu started giving "Director's Scholarship Award" to deserving pupils in all classes in order to appreciate and encourage the excellent performance of such pupils. To date, over 100 of pupils and families have benefited from this gesture since it started. Though millions of naira had been sacrificed into this initiative yet it will continue till forever. She is passionate about her staff welfare, she runs a free education for her staff children, including some families who love the school but could not afford the fees.

There is a saying that says, "A tree can not make a forest"; so also it won't be possible for Toydam school to be here today without the support of our stakeholders especially the chairpersons (Mrs. O. Aguda, Mr Nwogwugwu, Mr. Segun Akingoroye, Mr Dapo Buraimoh, Mrs Bimpe Anjorin, Ms. Patricia Oranye, Mrs. Yetunde Kayode, and Alhaji Tajudeen Ibrahim) since the inceptive stage of the school to date.

We are also using this opportunity to say thank you to all our stakeholders executives for the exceptional roles they play in moving the school forward. Also to all our parents, we say thank you for the prompt payment of your children's fees as always.

Pastor & Mrs Olusola Ayodele, our oldest parents... 19 years with us is enough to welcome you to the directors' platform of the school.

Twenty years ago, Toydam School started as a baby, and we thank God for giving us the hand to craw at the initial stage, the legs to run thereafter, and now the wings to fly! The flight has taken off already and Toydam is going to soar higher and higher to greater heights by the grace of God.

We are happy to say our alumni group is functional to the glory of God. We are in touch with our children both home and abroad. In fact some have started giving back to the school. We look forward to when some will come work with us and bring their children to join Toydam school, by His grace.

It will be interesting to know that Toydam School is working out modalities to bring in seasoned educators as partners soonest from abroad. Our prayers is to keep the school effective and functional till forever.
