To join Toydam Children School, find below our admission procedure:

Eligibility:

Toydam school is open to all children between ages 1 and 10 years irrespective of tribe, colour or creed.

Registration:

Application forms and prospectus can be obtained from the school at a fee. Completed form should be returned with all the following documents:-

    2 passport-size photographs
  • Birth Certificate (photocopy)
  • last School Report

School fees and method of payment:

School fees are fixed by the Management and are subject to review whenever necessary. Parents are adviced to strictly adhere to the processes of paying school fees as laid down by the school.

They are to pay directly to the school bankers - as indicated on the tellers which would be given to them upon request. These should be submitted to the bursary on or before resumption. However, parents can pay the fees yearly if they so desire. Usually, such lump sum payment attracts a discount.

Withdrawal:

Provisions of books, teaching aids and other facilities in the school are made in advance according to the number of pupils on roll. in view of this, parents are required to give one term prior notice to the school in the event of any child being withdrawn from the school. Failure to provide this notice will result in a surchage of one term's fee.

Parent should note that:

those transferring from other schools, a qualifying test will be given to the child to determine his/her proper placement.

that the school management reserves the right to refuse admisssion to any child or ask parents to withdraw the child from the school if need be.

School Calendar

The School year consists of three terms, each with a duration of twelve to thirteen weeks. There is a three-week vacation at the end of the first and second terms, while the last term has an eight/nine weeks long vacation period.
The first term runs from September through December
The second term runs from January through March/April
The third term runs from April through July

The school observes all public holidays.

Summer School

During the long vacation, summer classes are organised.
Details of this are usually communicated to parents in good time.

School Extra

Termly dental checkup and deworming exercises are carried out by qualified medical personnel.
V.I.P is maintain weekly to encourage pupils academically, morally and socially.
